Dunglass Mill Press
Cockburnspath, A history of a People and a Place is detailed study of the village and surrounding area. Lady Helen Hall was the wife of Sir James Hall of Dunglass. As well as being a society lady she was a powerful presence in Edinburgh and East Lothian in the 18th century.
Pauline and Charlie
Pauline and Charlie Poulsen are an energetic couple based at Allanton. Pauline is a textile artist and Charlie is a sculptor. Look out for their annual open studio, usually in August, when you may see their work and enjoy their inventive garden ideas.
